BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Centre baseball opened the second week of SAA Tournament play by heading to top seed Birmingham-Southern for double elimination pod play. The Colonels faced Berry in the opening game, who defeated Centre 10-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The defense let the Colonels down early as three errors in the first inning led to a pair of unearned runs for the Vikings.

Josh Cunningham led off with an infield hit and ended up on third after a pair of sacrifices, but that was as close as the Colonels got to a run on this day as they had to play from behind.
- The Vikings added four runs in the fourth and four more in the fifth to put the game out of reach.
