OVERWATCH GOLD:
Ohio State 2, Centre 1 - Queen City Clash Qualifier
- The Centre Overwatch squads were next as the Gold team took on Ohio State University in the Queen City Clash Qualifier in a best of three series to determine who moved on in the event. The first game was on the Lijiang Tower map and went to overtime, but the Buckeyes prevailed 2-1.
- King's Row was the second map of the competition and was won by the Colonels.
Joseph Matthews (Galvanijo) had the play of the game.
- Suravasa was the final map and was taken by Ohio State.
James Perry (whosjames) made a final push but fell just short. The Buckeyes won the map and moved on to the next round of the clash.
UCLA 2, Centre 1 - UKY Bluegrass Showdown Qualifier
- The next event for the Gold squad was the UKY Bluegrass Showdown Qualifier against UCLA. Centre won the first map of Samoa by a razor-thin margin of 2-1 in the early lead of the contest.
- Map two was Dorado and the Bruins took advantage of the Colonels' backline being in a spot where they were able to be picked off quickly. UCLA bounced back and won the map to set up an exciting game three.
- Much like the Ohio State match, this battle came down to Suravasa. Centre and UCLA fought to an even two points each after the Colonels restabilized. In the end, the Bruins took the win but the great map differential for Centre moved them on to the next round of the Showdown.
Arkansas State 3, Centre 0
- The Colonels were in a grudge match with the Red Wolves who have always been a competitive foe. Illios was the first map and it was a close affair with the opposition escaping 2-1.
- Map two was Shimbali and was a 3-0 loss for Centre. The Colonels continued to struggle with backline play and also could not find an answer for the flanking tracer play.
- Suravasa was map three in flashpoint mode. The Gold & White earned a few good team fight wins but the Red Wolves took the W.
Kennesaw State 3, Centre 2
- The final Gold match of the week was against the Owls. Antarctic Peninsula was the sight of the game one battle. Centre forced overtime in Kennesaw State game, but the Owls took the first game.
- Circuit Royal was the second map and Kennesaw won the second-straight map.
- Suravasa was the third map and it was a sweep for the Colonels. Matthews had the play of the game and stopped a melee to keep the sweep secured for Centre.

- The Midtown map was the final and close, but the Owls prevailed in the end.

- The Overwatch White team came into the week with an undefeated OWU on deck. Oasis was the first map and the Colonels made quick work of the opponent in a decisive win.
- Map two was Circuit Royal and it took a little longer. The game went to overtime with a 4-3 advantage and held onto it to move 2-0 in the overall match.
- Suravasa was another dominating performance for the Gold & White in the 3-0 sweep. It kept Centre undefeated and gave OWU the first loss of the season.
Centre 3, Ramapo College of New Jersey 1
- The second White match of the week was against another undefeated team in the form of RCNJ. Map one was Lijiang Tower and, while it went to overtime, it was a solid win for the Colonels.
- Centre was very dominant on map two. RCNJ did not make it to the first checkpoint in the game played on Rialto.
- RCNJ took charge on the Suravasa map as The Colonels stuggled in flashpoint play. The oppositions skirmish comp disrupted Centre's game plan.
- The Gold & White rallied and took a focus on countering the opponent's composition on map four and it paid off. Colosseo was kind to Centre and the Colonels added the first loss to the RCNJ schedule.
