DANVILLE, Ky. – The Centre College athletic department has partnered with Influxer to provide all Colonel athletes with the opportunity to sell and profit from personalized apparel and other items as part of a new name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunity.
Influxer is an officially licensed vendor, creating co-branded apparel customized with players' names and numbers. Through this partnership, Influxer will provide education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding.
Keith Miller, Influxer VP added, "Influxer is excited about this partnership with the Colonels to bring a great NIL opportunity that benefits everyone. Brad Fields and the administration have been extremely diligent in not only emphasizing the end product of the opportunity but also recognizing the business experience the process brings to student-athlete development."
Each of Centre's 600+ student-athletes from every team will have the opportunity to create their own webpage that showcases their personalized gear available for purchase that features official Centre College branding. Deals are currently being finalized and the marketplace will continue to populate with more student-athletes over the coming days.
In addition to the online store, the Influxer team oversees all fulfillment and customer service, while collaborating with student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
