ATLANTA - Earlier today the Southern Athletic Association released its postseason awards for the 2025 outdoor track & field season as voted on by the league's coaches and Centre brought in two of the major awards with Track Athlete of the Week Madjo Doumbia and Field Athlete of the Week Serena McNeilly.

Doumbia accounted for five school records during the outdoor portion of her senior season. She racked up 38.5 points for the Colonels at the SAA Championships to help the Colonels win, setting school records in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay along the way and earning High Point Scorer of the Meet honors. She also was part of the 4x400m squad that set a school record at a last chance meet at Liberty University last week. Doumbia currently ranks in the top 15 on the NCAA Performance List in three different events, including third nationally in the 100m.

McNeilly was a two-time event champion at the outdoor conference championships, earning victories in the triple jump and high jump. The 2025 NCAA Indoor high jump national runner-up set a new outdoor high mark of 5-7.75 in the high jump during the heptathlon at the Berry Field Day. During that same heptathlon, she set a school record with 4,404 points. McNeilly is ranked in the top 15 nationally in both the triple jump and high jump, topping out at third in the country in the high jump.

The NCAA Track & Field Championships will release the 2025 Outdoor field on May 18.
