PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Centre women's golf team got their season underway with the NCAA Fall Preview at Desert Willow G.R., hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Through the first 18 holes of competition, the Colonels sit in 15th place.
Centre finished with a combined team score of 327, sitting six shots back of George Fox going into tomorrow's final round.
The Colonels traveled to California with four first-year players in the rotation. The low scorer of the day for Centre was rookie
Nithya Nunna, who finished with a round of 75 after going two under par on the back nine for a strong finish.

Ceci Coccia finished with a round of 80, followed by lone returner
Janie Morgan with a score of 82. First-years
Emerson Vaughn and
Caitlyn Mundwiler rounded out Centre's totals for the Saturday session with respective scores of 90 and 92.
The NCAA Fall Preview will conclude on Sunday as the Colonels look to ascend the leaderboard.
