Indianapolis, IN -
Tiernan Moore closed out the Centre Swim & Dive season with another All-American honor on the final day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swim & Dive Championships.
The sophomore entered Saturday on the heels of a strong performance in Friday's 100 breaststroke. He doubled the length of his swim on Saturday in the 200.
In prelims, Moore swam his race in 1 minute, 58.02 seconds to place 2nd out of 28 swimmers and qualify for the final.
In Saturday night's final, Moore got off to a quick start and was 3rd after the opening 25 yards. He continued to gain ground as the race continued but could not claim another spot or two. Moore ultimately took 3rd place with a time of 1:57.11, just 0.31 seconds away from the runner-up spot.
Caroline Lee also took to the pool for the final time in her stellar Centre career. She competed in the 100 freestyle and swam her preliminary race in a time of 52.00 seconds. The time was just 0.27 seconds off her blistering mark at the SAA Championships but was not enough to reach the final as she finished in 47th.
In total, Centre Swim & Dive took home nine All-American honors at the 2026 Championships and will look to carry that momentum into the future.
