LA CROSSE, Wis. - Six-time All-American Cree Ross added another award to his belt on Thursday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Centre junior broke his own school record in the long jump twice in the same event to take third place.

Ross hit a personal best mark on his first jump of the day, vaulting into fourth place with a mark of 24-6.5 (7.48m). On his final attempt of the afternoon, Ross once again achieved a PR, this time jumping 24-9 (7.54m) to move into third place.

By finishing in the individual top eight, Ross picked up automatic All-America First Team honors and is now a seven-time All-American in his time at Centre, six times with track & field and once with football.

Ross will return to action for the Colonels on Saturday with the men's triple jump.
