GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association released its first batch of postseason awards for the 2026 season on Tuesday afternoon as four members of the Centre baseball team were named to the All-Region VI team.

Junior center fielder Ayden Lohr received the highest honor this season, earning All-Region Second Team honors. Lohr enjoyed a career year in his junior season, picking up All-SAA First Team honors. His 61 hits were a team high mark and third in the conference. Lohr led the league in both triples (5) and stolen bases  (27) while posting top five marks in hits, home runs and RBIs and playing excellent defense, including a full extension diving catch in the SAA Tournament that was the defensive play of the season for Centre. He will enter 2027 on pace to break a handful of career program records.

Senior Chase Austin and sophomores Isaac Rone and Aidan Carr were named to the All-Region VI Third Team. Austin enjoyed his finest season at first base for the Colonels in his senior year, earning All-SAA Second Team honors. His .372 average and 58 hits were a career high and he ranked in the top ten in the conference in eight different statistical categories, including fourth in hits and hits and walks.

Rone was voted the league's top pitcher by the conference's coaches after an outstanding sophomore season that saw him post a 5-0 record and lead the SAA with a 2.33 ERA during the regular season. Despite missing some time due to injury, Rone still ranked in the top five in the SAA in strikeouts and limited opposing batters to a .201 average while only giving up 14 earned runs all season long.

Carr picked up his first All-Region honor after earning All-SAA Honorable Mention as a sophomore. After seeing limited action as a freshman, Carr broke through in 2026 with a great regular season, posting a 1.48 in ten relief appearances, striking out 28 batters vs. just walks while limiting opposing hitters to a .195 average.
