Dickson, TN - The Colonels traveled to Greystone CC for the SAA Preview to kick off their fall season, after two rounds of a challenge battle on a 72 par layout. Centre finished in 3rd out of 6. 

Grace Vernon led the group after an opening 77 (+), with a steady 37 on the front nine before finishing with a 40 on the back. 

Nithya Nunna and Sady Shafie both posted 78 (+6) to finish just one shot behind Vernon. Nunna opened with a 37 before a 41 on the back, while Shafie recorded rounds of 38 and 40.

Ceci Coccia finished at 79 (+7), putting together a 40 on the front nine and a 39 on the back. Anika Okuda followed with an 80 (+8) after rounds of 38 and 42.

Ellie Roof closed out the group with an 87 (+15), shooting 42 on the front and 45 on the back.

With everyone staying within a few strokes each other, they look ahead to round 2. 

Round two brought out several strong performances, highlighted by Nunna and Anike Okuda, who both carded 76 (+4) to lead the group for the round.

Grace Vernon finished with a 78 (+6), recovering from a 42 on the front nine with an impressive 36 on the back nine. She moves to +11 overall.

Sady Shafie recorded a 79 (+7), going 39-40 to reach +13 for the tournament. Ceci Coccia finished at 81 (+9) after rounds of 39 and 42, bringing her two-round total to +16.

Ellie Roof improved on her opening round, shooting 40 on the front nine and 41 on the back, but remains at +24 overall.
