NCAA Amateurism Certification Process for International Student-Athletes needs to be completed before all first-year and transfer international student-athletes are eligible to practice or compete.
 
The process is listed below…
 
  1. All International Student-Athletes need to create an Amateurism Certification Account – click on this link to access - Create Certification Account (ncaa.org)
    1. Please note – there is a $70.00 fee for this account and institutions are not permitted to pay for this fee per NCAA Rules
    2. The NCAA does offer a fee waiver for those who qualify – click on this link for more information - What is a fee waiver? (egain.cloud)
 
  1. Once an Amateurism Certification Account is created – you must e-mail katie.pattom@centre.edu with the following information
    1. First and last name
    2. NCAA ID number
    3. E-mail address
    4. DOB
    5. Home Address
    6. Name of High School
    7. Year of High School Graduation
 
  1. Once an Amateurism Certification Account is created – you must request a Final Amateurism Certification - How_to_Request_Final_Amateurism_Certification.pdf (ncaa.org)
