Andrew McKinney tied for 26th at the Transylvania Fall Invitational in the opening tournament of his junior season, including his season low round of 72 on the third day of play. He then studied abroad in Mexico for the remainder of the fall semester. He came back in the spring to tie for 21st at the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate and earned a place on the SAA Academic Honor Roll. As a sophomore, McKinney posted a pair of top ten finishes, with his low round of 70 coming in a fourth place finish at the Jim English Invite. In 2014-15, McKinney’s top finish of his freshman season came at the SAA Championship, where he earned All-Conference honors with a seventh place finish. His season low round as a freshman was 71, which occurred three times.

2014-15 Season (Fr.):
McKinney appeared in four tournaments in the fall with a scoring average of 74. His best finish of the fall came at the Oglethorpe Fall Invitational, October 6-7, 2014 where he carded rounds of 71-73 to finish tied for 8th place. In the spring McKinney finished 7th at the SAA Championships to earn All-SAA honors, as well as two additional season-low rounds of 71.
2013 Season (High School Sr.):
McKinney played in 10 tournaments during his senior year of high school, posting a scoring average of 72. His season included a win at the Garrard County Golden Lion Invitational where he shot 71 and a win at Region where he shot 71. His low round of 69 came at the Lafayette Invitational where he finished third. He finished 10th at the KHSAA State Tournament, shooting round of 77-72 and was a member of the All-State Team.
