Eliza Hudson finished her junior season with a pair of top 20 finishes, including ninth place at the Jim English Centre Invite and an 11th place finish at the SAA Championships. In that tournament, Hudson''s round of 76 on the first day of competition represented her lowest round of the 2016-17 season. Hudson was also a member of the SAA Academic Honor Roll as a junior. In 2015-16, Hudson posted three top five finishes, most notably a second place finish at the Birmingham Southern Shootout. Hudson fired a pair of scores of 73 at the Southern Shootout and once more at the Rhodes Classic for her lowest rounds of the year and her career. As a freshman, Hudson earned two top ten finishes, fifth place at the Jim English Centre Invite and sixth at the Rhodes Fall Invite. Hudson shot a score of 78 at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invite and the final day of play at the SAA Championships, representing her 2014-15 low score.

2013-14 Season (Senior in high school):
Eliza started off her senior year shooting a 75 two-over par round at the Seymour Invitational and rounded out her year with a 73 at Sectionals hosted at Old Capital Golf Course. Here she won a playoff to become the medalist and move on with her team to Regionals and then to State as well. In her fall season of her freshman year, she started off with an 80 at the Jim English Invitational and shot a 79 at the Rhodes Invitational tying for fifth place.

If you could put together your dream foursome for an 18-hole round of golf, who would it be and where would you play?
My dream foursome for an 18-hole round would probably be Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, and Lexi Thompson and we would play at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
If you could invite anyone — living or from the past — to spend a weekend with you at Centre, who would it be and why?
If I could invite anyone to spend a weekend with me at Centre it would be Harry Potter. We could bond over wizardry, and then maybe he would take me back to Hogwarts with him so I could finally refine my spell casting skills.
When you get frustrated on the golf course, what keeps you from losing your poise/cool?
When I get frustrated I try to think about anything else except for golf and only concentrate when I need to pick a club and hit so I don’t overthink things.
Ten years from now, what do you hope to be doing?
Ten years from now I hope to be successful in whatever career I decide on and be focused on having a family.
