Cook, Morgan

Morgan Cook

Cook was named the Head Coach of the Centre women’s tennis program in September of 2022.
 
She joins the Colonels after previously coaching in the Kentucky area for Corbin Independent School, working as an assistant for the women’s tennis program. Cook was part of both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams, mentoring several student-athletes to the collegiate level.
 
While coaching, she helped Corbin win team, individual and doubles titles for both programs from 2016-2018. Cook also found success in the Kentucky High School State Championship Tournament with her teams, having a women’s student-athlete reach the quart-final round in 2016. Corbin also had student-athlete reach the State Tournament in 2017 (round of 32) and 2018 (round of 16).
 
Cook also is a former student-athlete on the women’s tennis team for Western Kentucky University, where she excelled both on and off the field as a four-year scholarship recipient and a four-time Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll honoree. She was also a six-time varsity letter-winner at Corbin High School, winning Team Region Championship titles from 2008-2010.
