Centre track & field alumnus Braden Tabor '21 was named an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Colonels in July 2024.
Tabor returned to Danville after four years as both the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Head Boys and Girls Powerlifting Coach at Hopkins County Central High School. While at Hopkins County he worked with multiple teams to program and implement workouts for varsity programs. He also served as an assistant football coach and assistant track & field coach at the school. He had a total of five state meet track & field qualifiers in the throwing discipline.
Tabor got his start in strength and conditioning as an intern at Centre. He served as an intern in the sports performance department all four years in Danville.
The coach competed as a thrower for the Centre track & field team in his four years on campus. Tabor then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Education at Western Kentucky University. He is Level 1 certified by United States Weightlifting and is also a member of the US Powerlifting Association.
