Brian Sneed

Coach Sneed has coached the defensive backs since joining the Centre College football staff in 2013.


A 2010 graduate, Sneed was a three-year starter at outside linebacker and was a part of two conference championship basketball teams at Centre. He was chosen as the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week four times in his career, was a two time all conference linebacker, and was voted team captain for the 2009 season.


Sneed has coached two First Team All-SAA performers in Sam Spees (2013) and Alex Mattingly (2014). 


Coach Sneed earned his B.S. in mathematics with a minor in secondary education and spent three seasons coaching defensive backs and running backs at Pope John Paul II High School in Hendersonville, Tenn. He and his wife, Diane, are both from the middle Tennessee area and currently reside in Danville.
