Perin enters his second season as thedefensive backs coach for the Colonels' staff. Under hisleadership, the secondary has played a key role in the success ofthe defense. In his first season he tutored three all-conferenceperformers including 1st Team All-SCAC selection Jimmie Warren.Warren was third in the conference in passes defended and fourth ininterceptions.

Perin comes to Centre after coaching thecornerbacks at Muskingum University in 2009. In his only season atMuskingum the defense improved in every major defensive categoryand the team had one of the most successful seasons in recenthistory.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Perin is a 2008graduate of Centre College.  As a player at Centre, Perin wasa four year starter, and in 2007 he was named to the All-SCACTeam.
