Rick Fox

Rick Fox rejoined the Centre football coaching staff in the spring of 2021. It is the second stint for Fox as Centre's offensive coordinator, as he previously served in the position from 1999-2007.

Fox, who last served as the special teams coordinator and defensive line coach at Taylor University, returns to Centre after a successful 11-year tenure in various roles at FCS Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, eventually becoming the head coach, as he led the Bulldogs to a record of 33-22 from 2014-18.

In eight seasons at Centre, Fox was the offensive coordinator for some of the Colonels' most prolific passing teams in program history as quarterbacks Drew Mildren and Brian Behrendt shattered school passing records. Fox also served as the Centre strength and conditioning coach as well as the director of the Buck Fitness Center during his previous tenure.

A 1986 graduate of Wheaton College, Fox has 18 years of experience as an offensive line coach, serving in that role at his alma mater along with Aurora University and Drake before being promoted to head coach.
