Adam Boyer is entering his third season as anAssistant Coach for the Men's Soccer program. A 2009 graduate ofCentre College, Boyer has returned to his alma mater to continuehis work with the team along with tenth-year head coach JebBurch.
Boyer was an NSCAA/adidas 2nd TeamAll-American and 1st Team Academic All-American in 2008, becomingthe first player in Centre Soccer history to win both All-Americanand Academic All-American honors in the same year. A three-timecaptain, Boyer was also a two-time 1st Team All-SCAC performer aswell as a three-time NSCAA/adidas South-Central All-Regionselection.
Prior to his time in a Centre jersey, Boyerwon the 2006 USYSA National Championship with his youth club team,Javanon ’87. He recently finished his third professionalindoor season with the Louisville Lightning of the ProfessionalArena Soccer League (PASL), where he served as captain, was namedto the PASL All-League Honorable Mention Team, and was voted MostValuable Defender.
Boyer's primary responsibilities with theCentre Men’s Soccer team include technical and tacticaltraining, practice regulation, website development, recruitingorganization, social media, and game-day planning. Boyer alsoserves as a Lecture Staff member for Player Development Programs,LLC, and as coordinator for the Personal Group Training portion. Heis an active member of the National Soccer Coaches Association ofAmerica and holds his NSCAA National Diploma. He is set to receivehis Advanced National Diploma this summer.
Boyer also coaches for Central Kentucky SoccerClub, a select club located in Danville, Ky. He currently serves asDirector for the U9 Academy, and also served as Head Coach for theU17 Boys team in 2009. He also coaches for Louisville SoccerAlliance, serving as Head Coach of the U23 Men’s team.
Boyer also serves as a Director for DanvilleIndoor, LLC, an indoor training facility opened by Coach Burch in2011. He helped oversee the design and layout of the facility andadministers both group and individual training sessions while alsomanaging futsal leagues.
Boyer resides in Danville, Ky. He holdsa Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from CentreCollege.
