SEWANEE, Tenn. – Centre women's lacrosse went against a hot Vassar squad Sunday afternoon, falling by a 25-11 score at Sewanee's Puett Field.
The Colonels fall to 3-4 overall while the Brewers – who set a program record for goals scored – remain undefeated at 4-0.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The two sides traded goals throughout the opening stages of the game, but an unassisted score from
Abby Whitford six minutes in gave Centre a 3-2 lead.
- Vassar went on to score 11 in a row to create separation on the scoreboard.

Bella Tacogue scored three goals during a 4-0 Centre run that helped the Colonels pull within 12-7
- The Brewers eventually carried a 17-9 lead into the half after scoring on 17 of 26 shots.

Mary Katherine Hardy's two goals proved to be the only scores for Centre in the second period.
