- With the Vikings facing 4th & 2 from Centre's 43, Keanan John and Logan Wolf tackled Berry's Brandon Cade in the backfield to give Centre another short field. With time running out in the first half, the Colonels capitalized as Dupper marched the team down the field one more time and plunged in from the goal line to give Centre the 35-0 halftime lead.
- The Vikings scored first in the third quarter following a turnover caused by a bad snap, but Centre responded with an 86-yard drive highlighted by a 25-yard strike from Dupper to Greer Stone. Edwards punched it in from the 1 to put the Colonels back up by five scores.
