JACKSON, Miss. – After dropping Saturday's contest, Centre women's tennis bounced back to defeat Millsaps, 5-4, in Sunday's non-conference meeting.
The Colonels and Majors both finish the weekend with 3-1 overall records.

Ella Rueff followed with an 8-5 win against Jillian Sandoz and Morgan Jenkins at No. 1.

Caroline Stallings won her No. 2 singles match against Jenkins, 6-2, 6-1, remaining a perfect 4-0 on solo matches this spring.

Lainey Hill finished next at No. 1 singles, where she edged out Marissa Brown, 7-6(3), 6-3, marking her first victory on court one this season.
- With Centre totaling four points overall,
Caroline Lancaster pushed the Colonels across the finish line with a come-from-behind win at No. 3 singles against Morris Kelly Clayton. She dropped the opening set, 1-6, before rallying to win the second, 6-2, and the tiebreak, 10-8. Like Stallings, she is a perfect 4-0 in singles matches this spring.
