SEWANEE, Tenn. – Centre men's tennis dropped a 7-2 match Sunday at Sewanee, competing at the Charlotte Guerry Indoor Courts.
The Colonels slide to 2-6 overall while the Tigers move to 4-6.
HIGHLIGHTS
- For the second straight day,
Arpit Rana and
Bo Bush claimed No. 1 doubles for the Colonels, defeating Alejandro Becker and Jack Metzger, 8-4. The duo is now 5-1 together this spring.
- Sewanee took the other two doubles matches, however, leading 2-1 heading into singles play.

Ashton Whitt took the lone singles match for Centre, winning a come-from-behind three-setter against Matt Barnett, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
- Bush played Jackson David close at No. 4 singles, ultimately falling 6-4, 7-5.

Danny Nelson also kept his opponent close, falling 7-6, 7-6 in No. 5 singles to Jax Harbour.
