SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Centre field hockey closed its spring campaign Sunday, defeating Wittenberg by a 4-0 final on the road.
The Colonels close the season 3-0 overall in "official" games and 8-0-2 in 7 vs. 7 contests.
Senior
Sarah Biggs opened the scoring with her third goal of the spring.
Sophomore
Cora Kirby doubled Centre's lead with a goal off an assist from
Mackenzie Conkling.
Biggs helped on Centre's third goal, assisting
Ellie Dunham to make it 3-0.
Senior
Alana Pugh capped the outing with a late goal.
Sienna Joseph started and played all 60 minutes for the Colonels, but faced only one shot attempt as Centre dominated possession.
