MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Centre women's tennis closed their regular season Sunday in non-conference action at Rhodes, falling by a 7-2 score at the Dunavant Tennis Complex.
The Colonels slide to 8-6 overall while the Lynx more to 6-5.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Both of Centre's points came in doubles action.
Lainey Hill and
Ella Rueff came away with an 8-4 victory against Caroline Yarbrough and Kate McGough at No. 2 doubles, marking their fourth win of the spring.

Katharine Sherman and
Grace Headley continued their impressive spring season, defeating Dallas Bennett and Finn Mullen by an 8-5 score at No. 3. The two are a team-leading 5-1 as a tandem and have won four in a row.
- Rhodes went on to claim all six singles matches, four of which were in straight sets.
Maddy Trinh and
Abby Jamison each took a set in their singles losses.
