MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Centre men's soccer team (0-9-2, 0-3 SAA) took on the Rhodes Lynx (6-1-3, 2-0 SAA) in Colonels' first game of two this weekend, traveling south on Friday night for the contest. The Gold and White couldn't find any offense in the 90 minutes of action, falling on a final score of 2-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lynx got their offense started earlier, but Centre's goalkeeper would hold them off for a bit as he saves Rhodes' first shot of the game.
- Rhodes scored their first goal of the day in the 24th minute of the contest.
- Hartman would keep the Gold and White within striking distance with a save in the 34th minute, saving a Lynx penalty kick.
- The Lynx would score the game's final score in the 51st minute.
