After an extended stay at home, the Centre women's basketball team traveled to North Carolina on Wednesday for a mid-week competition. Taking on Warren Wilson College, the Colonels more than doubled the Owls in points, winning by a score of 92-42. After Wednesday's win, the Colonels improve to 5-3 on the season.
At halftime, Centre was controlling the pace of the game, putting up 44 points to Warren Wilson's 21. Entering the final quarter, the Colonels sat in the lead with a comfortable 37-point edge over the Owls. When the game concluded, the score was finalized at Centre 92, Warren Wilson 42.
