Kaylee Gregory would send a ball to the outfield for a sacrifice fly to add to their lead.
- The Tigers would get close to getting on the board in the final inning with the bases loaded, but a line drive to
Rylie Bentley would garner an unassisted double-play with putting a foot on second base to end the game.
GAME TWO: Millsaps 5, Centre 4
- Millsaps would mark the board first, their first inning of play driving in an unearned run.
- The Gold and White would strike back and take the lead in the second inning, a double by Rogers out in left field tossing home
Riley McCue and Gregory to make the score 2-1.
-
Sawyer Lecius would add to the lead in the third inning, sending a 2-base hit down the right field line to send Storms across home from second base.
- Baseheart was able to hold strong in the final two innings pitched, facing only six batters before leaving after the fifth inning, striking out two.
- Millsaps would come knocking in the sixth inning, tying the game with a two-RBI double and another pair later in the inning.
- The Colonels would try their hand at the comeback with putting up a score in the sixth inning, Gregory finding her way around the bases after McCue sent a single straight-out to center field.
