DANVILLE, Ky. – Coming back to central Kentucky after their recent road trip to North Central, the No. 15 Centre women's soccer team (5-1) took on Denison (0-5-1) for a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon. The Colonels had plenty to celebrate on Amend Field, claiming their fifth win of the season on a 2-0 final score.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Gold and White were able to churn their offense early,
Alexis Kronenthal slicing in the game's first goal within the first four minutes of action. The freshman's score was made way by an excellent pass from
Mills Mullen.
- Senior goalkeeper
Jonelle Barron has a handful of saves in back half of the game's first 90 minutes, recording two saves in the bottom-center side of the net.
- The Colonels ran out in the second half of the contest in full force, recording four shots and a pair of corner kicks before the Big Red could take a shot of their own.

Lindsay Carr would find the back of the net within the first 15 minutes of the second half, the junior recording the goal in the 59th minute.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Mullen's assist to Kronenthal marks the senior's fourth-consecutive game of recording at least a goal or an assist in a contest.
- The Colonels held Denison to a blank in corner kicks, the first time this season Centre has held an opponent to a zero in that statistical category.
- Carr's goal on Saturday marks her second of the season, tying her season-high in only six games so far.
