DANVILLE, Ky. – The No. 14 Centre women's soccer team (3-0) celebrated the Labor Day holiday on Monday afternoon with a match on Amend Field, hosting the Trine Thunder (1-1). The Colonels got their offense rolling in the second half with a pair of goal to seal their third-consecutive victory on a final score of 3-1.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Trine was able to take several shots in the beginning of the game, their quick pressure worked with a goal in the 14th minute.
- The Gold and White were able to take a slash in the Thunder's lead with a goal of their own, Mills Mullen taking a penalty-kick to the right side of the net after being held in the box.
- The Colonels exploded in the second half with a tight command in ball possession, claiming the half's first six shots at the goal.
- Centre's seventh shot in the second half was right on target; Alexis Kronenthal's bounce from the corner kick met with Maggie Corbett for a ball in the lower-right side of the goal to take the lead.
