DANVILLE, Ky. - The 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, selected by CSC has been announced and
Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta made the cut for Centre men's soccer.
It is the first Academic All-District selection for the sophomore defender. The Colonel was also named an SAA Honorable Mention earlier this year.
He is the first member of the Gold & White men's soccer program to be honored since the 2020-21 season.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average. Nominees must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests. Only a select group of student-athletes, chosen by CSC committees, advance from Academic All-District submission status to the Academic All-America ballot.
