DANVILLE, Ky. – After pulling off a doubleheader victory on Saturday, Centre baseball went into Sunday's contest with Millsaps looking to complete the series sweep. The Colonels accomplished just that with a convincing 13-1 victory in seven innings to increase their winning streak to six games and improve their record to 10-5 overall and 5-1 in the Southern Athletic Association.

Josh Livengood pitched his way out of an early jam, and then the Centre offense went to work in the first inning.
Josh Cunningham and
Dillon Di Iorio led off with consecutive singles.
Karson Thompson and
Chase Austin then connected with base hits to right field, giving the Colonels an early 2-0 lead.
- In Centre's half of the fourth,
Will Cline led off with a base hit over the shortstop's head.
Jamie Laframboise followed with a walk, and then an errant throw by the pitcher allowed Cline to score.
Cole Fergusson was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Two batters later, another Millsaps error led to two RBIs for Di Iorio. Thompson capped off the four-run rally with an RBI single to give the Colonels a 6-0 edge.
- The Colonels loaded the bases once again in the fifth and scored their first run of the inning after Ferguson lifted a blooper into no man's land. A Cunningham walk and a sac fly from Di Iorio added two more runs, and then the third Millsaps error of the game allowed two more runs to score to make it 11-0. With the bases still loaded, Cline lined one the other way to score Thompson and
Ben Prather, giving Centre a 13-0 advantage.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Four different Centre players drove in multiple runs on the day, led by Di Iorio with three. Thompson, Prather and Cline all finished with two RBIs each.
- Livengood earned his first career victory with the Colonels, allowing no runs and four hits while striking out three Majors in four innings of work.
- Thompson, Austin and Cline each finished with two hits on the day to pace the Centre offensive attack.
