DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre men's basketball picked up its second conference win in a row on Friday as the Colonels picked up a comfortable 75-56 victory over the Hendrix Warriors inside Alumni Gym.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After a cold start,
Landen Hamilton lifted the Centre offensive attack by scoring seven of the Colonels' first nine points.
- The teams played evenly for much of the first half after the Hamilton outburst, with Centre's lead holding between three and five points. Leading 20-17 at the seven-minute mark, the Colonels made their biggest run of the half.

Riley Mastin got inside for a pair of buckets,
Kaden White made two free throws and then consecutive threes from Hamilton capped off a 12-2 run that put Centre up by double figures. A layup from
Chez Moore gave Centre a 34-22 lead at the break.
- Another three-pointer by Hamilton in the opening minute set the tone for the second half. Hendrix could get no closer than a dozen points the rest of the way as Centre gradually extended the lead. Moore's layup gave the Colonels their first 20-point edge at 48-27, and the lead would reach as many as 25 points on a pair of
Noah Ring free throws at the 8:21 mark.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- 11 different Centre players got into the scoring column tonight, led by Hamilton, who finished with a game high 16 on 6-9 shooting from the field and 4-6 from long range. Mastin and Moore each finished in double digits as well.
- The Colonels took care of the basketball as well as they have done all season long, finishing with a season low five turnovers.
- Centre used a balanced effort to outrebound Hendrix 39-35 as
Jaxson Banks,
Carter Baughman,
Caleb Maul and
Cade Stinnett tied for team highs and game highs with five boards each.
