SEWANEE, Tenn. - Centre women's soccer fell in the 2024 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament semifinal round to host and top seed Sewanee by a tally of 1-0 Friday evening.
The no. 4 seeded Colonels exited from the tournament with an 11-5-2 overall record, while the Tigers moved on with a 12-1-4 mark.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre had one shot in the first half and it was from freshman
Claire Cavacini. The Colonels faced four shots in that opening half and
Grace Dutcher stopped the three that were on goal.
- The Gold & White were able to take four shots in the second half, but unfortunately none of them found the target. After going down 1-0 in the 81st minute, Centre had one more shot attempt, but the ball by
Alexis Kronenthal went wide.
