ATLANTA- On Monday afternoon, the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released it's most recent recipients of the Player of the Week honor. After an outstanding weekend in Hawaii, Centre's Bailey Rucker nabbed the honor which was the first Player of the Week nod for the Colonels this season.

Bailey Rucker started in both of the Colonels' contest on the week, gathering a total of 59 minutes. In the contest versus Willamette, Rucker led the court with a season high of 27 points. In the double overtime victory versus Puget Sounds, the senior fronted Centre in points with 13. In the fourth quarter alone, Rucker outscored the Loggers, simultaneously tying the game to send it to overtime where the Colonels eventually won. In total on the week, Rucker shot 10-11 from the line, took 11 off the glass, had three assists, five steals, and 40 points.
