CONWAY, Ark. - The wins keep coming for No. 49 Centre men's tennis as the team has won three in a row after defeating Hendrix 8-1 in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play on Saturday.
The Colonels are 9-8 overall and 4-2 in the SAA mark as they are one match away from the end of the regular season.
Ben Rueff and
Isaac Flanery's streak as the No. 2 duo for the Gold & White matches the team's after an 8-3 win over Agustin Kalinowski and Maximilian Henderson.
Bo Bush and
Ashton Whitt played together for the first time this season and earned an 8-6 victory versus Jackson Roybal and Eric Meyne in the top ranked doubles match.
Jasper Gazzo and
Chase Turley are back-to-back winners after taking down Robinson Wright and Cason Cole by a tally of 8-4 in No. 3 doubles.
All but one singles match went the way of Centre. Whitt won 6-1, 6-0 in the second slot over Meyne.
Isaac Flanery won his third-straight match with a 6-2, 6-4 decision over Elijah Pierce in the No. 3 match.
Bo Bush also made it three wins in a row with a 6-2, 6-2 thumping of Wright. Gazzo added to the wins tally with his 6-1, 6-4 victory in the fifth-ranked singles match with Rowan McCollum. Turley won his second game of the season as he took down Matias Ancieta 6-2, 6-3 in the bottom match.
Rueff won a set in the No. 1 singles contest but ultimately lost to Kalinowski 2-6, 7-6, 6-10.

The regular season comes to an end for the Colonels tomorrow. Centre will travel to Rhodes for a 10 a.m. match on Sunday.
