ATLANTA – Centre women's soccer came just shy of the top spot in the 2024 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) preseason poll, voted on by the SAA's coaches.
The Colonels, coming off a runner-up regular season finish and trip to the SAA Tournament semifinal round, tallied 33 points and three first-place votes in this year's poll. Back-to-back SAA regular-season champion Sewanee finished just one point above Centre.
