DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre men's soccer scored early and equalized late, but fell to reigning Southern Athletic Association (SAA) champion Oglethorpe 4-2 on Saturday.
After the loss the Colonel record sits at 7-2-1 overall and 0-1 in the SAA. The Stormy Petrels improved to 3-1-4 on the year and 1-0 in SAA action.

Landin Grzelewski passed a ball to
Zeke Saviello in the 19th minute that Saviello rocketed into the back of the net. That lead held for Centre for the rest of the first half.
- In the first three minutes and change of the second half, Oglethorpe notched two goals to take a one score lead in the match.
- In the 55th minute the Colonels evened things up.
Alec McAlister used his head to send a throw-in ball to
AJ Daniels. Daniels, positioned inside the penalty arc, took a shot that went in to even the score at 2-2.
- The Stormy Petrels added two more scores in the game to take home the 4-2 conference win.
