ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Nationals were a historic one for the Centre College cheerleading program, as the Colonels made the institution's first ever finals appearance and finished seventh in the Open All-Girl Game Day division.
For the second-straight year the Centre team advanced to the semifinal round of the division. In those Friday semifinals the Gold & White squad tallied an event score of 86 out of 100, which gave them 10th place and a spot in the finals. The Colonels were the last team to make the finals cut.
Centre showed marked improvement in the finals round on Saturday night. The Gold & White score improved to 86.5667 in the last competition of the nationals event and the Colonels had no score deductions. That tally was enough to give Centre a final place of seventh.
