The Southern Athletic Association announced its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference honors on Tuesday. Centre had three student-athletes receive recognition.
Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta was named to the 2nd Team All-SAA. The Colonel co-captain led a defense that allowed just 1.56 goals per game in the regular season and held opponents to 0 or 1 goals in 9 games. Offensively, Deem-Ranzetta scored twice, including an 88th minute penalty kick that gave Centre a 2-2 draw against Maryville. He started all 13 matches he played in and tallied 1,153 minutes. The honor marks the 3rd time he has received recognition from the SAA. Previously, Deem-Ranzetta was named to the 1st Team in 2024 and honorable mention in 2022.
Ryan O'Hara received honorable mention honors from the SAA. The sophomore from Lexington started all 16 games for the Colonels this season and logged 1,180 minutes. He scored 1 goal and added 2 assists. His goal was the opener in Centre's 2-2 tie against Maryville on September 7th.
Ethan Cajuste was also named honorable mention and was named to the SAA All-Sportsmanship team. The sophomore made 9 starts, including the final 7 of the regular season, tallying 901 minutes. He scored a goal in Centre's 4-1 win over Oglethorpe on October 26th. With Cajuste in the starting 11 for the final 7 games, Centre held 5 opponents to 1 goal or less, including the 0-0 draw at Sewanee in the regular season finale that clinched the Colonels' berth in the SAA Tournament.
