SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Centre men's track & field hit the road again as the Colonels brought a partial squad to the Steemer Showcase at Wittenberg, where they competed against a field of teams from all divisions. The Colonels finished fifth overall with a score of 28 points.
The first win of the day came in the 300m as
Corbin Ison picked up first place with a time of 36.34, continuing Centre's string of 2025 success in that race.
In the 60m hurdles,
Justin Lewis posted the fastest time for Centre, finishing fifth overall with a time of 8.61.
Another excellent event for the Colonels was the shot put as
David Harless finished in fifth place with a mark of 49-5.75, breaking his previous school record in the event by four inches.
Luke Cole also posted a scoring mark in the shot put, placing eighth overall with a throw of 46-10.
In the triple jump,
Cree Ross was the only Division III athlete in the scoring column as he took third place with a mark of 45-3.75. The men's high jump saw
Isaac Johnson and
Michael Smith both crack the top eight after clearing 6-2.
All-American
Logan Isaacs topped all collegiate competitors in the pole vault as he finished second overall with a mark of 15-5.
Alex Hibbens took fourth place in the same event after clearing 13-11.25.

The Colonels will return to action in two weeks as they host the Centre Indoor Invitational on Feb. 14.
