ATLANTA- On Monday afternoon, the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released its most recent recipients of the Player of the Week honor. After an outstanding senior celebrating weekend, Centre's Bailey Rucker nabbed the honor which was the second for the Kentucky native this season.

Bailey Rucker started in both of the Colonels' Southern Athletic Association (SAA) wins over the weekend, registering a total of 58 minutes. In the win over Oglethorpe, Rucker led the court in points, matching her career high of 28. Adding 11 rebounds, the Colonel tallied her third double-double of the season. In the very next game, Rucker claimed her fourth double-double in the win over Berry with 16 points and 11 rebounds, leading the game in both statistics. In total on the week, Rucker tallied 21 rebounds, two assists, two steals, went 14-19 at the line, and put up 44 points.
