GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association released its preseason poll for the 2025 season and Centre was ranked 25th in the nation.

It is the first ever preseason top 25 ranking in program history for the Colonels, who earned their first national ranking ever at the end of last season's NCAA Tournament run.

The Colonels went 36-13 in 2024, enjoying the finest season in Centre baseball history. The team won the Southern Athletic Association regular season championship for the first time ever and won the conference tournament title for the first time since 1987. The Colonels advanced to their first ever NCAA Tournament as well, where they won two games before falling to Wisconsin-Whitewater, who is ranked first in this season's preseason poll.
