ORLANDO, Fla. - The Learfield Directors' Cup finalized its leaderboard for the 2024-25 athletic season and Centre College enjoyed its highest finish ever in 45th place, ranking atop the Southern Athletic Association.
The Colonels finished with a department-wide 385 points over the 2024-25 athletic season, scoring 132.5 points in the fall, 177.5 in the winter and 75 in the spring. Centre sent teams and individuals to NCAA Championships in all three sport seasons and the 45th place finish in the standings is the second highest by any school in the 13-year history of the Southern Athletic Association.
In 2024-25, Centre won or shared eight Southern Athletic Association team championships. 15 different student-athletes were named All-Americans, marking a record for the most in a season by the Colonels. Centre also had three national runners-up in senior diver Avery Balch, senior sprinter Madjo Doumbia and sophomore high jumper Serena McNeilly.
