Canton, Ga. - The Southern Athletic Association has announced its honorees for the 2026 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll and Sigma Alpha Alpha Honor Society.

The Sigma Alpha Alpha Honor Society is one of the most prestigious honors in the conference. Student-athletes must have excelled both athletically and academically in their playing careers. 
To qualify, student-athletes must have been a graduating senior and posted a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. They also must have earned a place on either the All-SAA First-Team or All-SAA Second-Team at least once in their playing career and have had competed in their senior season. Centre had 10 student-athletes receive the honor this year.

The honor roll is comprised of members of Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving, Men's & Women's Golf, Men's & Women's Lacrosse, Men's and Women's Track & Field, Men's & Women's Tennis, Baseball and Softball teams. Centre had 194 student-athletes named to the list this year. To qualify for the honor, student-athletes from the SAA membership schools had to post a minimum GPA of 3.25 for the spring semester and been a member of a conference-sponsored varsity sport.
