Centre Athletics announces 2025 Hall of Fame class

DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre Athletics is pleased to announce four new members to our Hall of Fame. Below are the inductees of the Centre Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 and their career accomplishments.

Rachel Brannen (Women's Soccer, Class of 2013): – D3Soccer.com All-American; NSCA Scholar All-American; Centre Student Athlete of the Year 2013; Brannen, a senior defender from Fort Mitchell, Ky., was a second team selection to the team, which recognizes athletes who excel on the field while also maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.30. Her selection comes on the heels of being named a Second Team All-American by the NSCAA and D3Soccer.com, First Team All-Great Lakes Region and First Team All-Southern Athletic Association. Brannen scored three goals this season while playing a key role on a defense that ranked in the top 10 nationally in goals against average (0.42) and shutouts (15). The Colonels finished the season 20-2, won SAA regular season and tournament championships and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year. Brannen was selected as a Second Team All-American by D3Soccer, the latest in a series of postseason awards that includes being named NSCAA Second Team All-American, First Team All-Great Lakes Region and First Team All-Southern Athletic Association.
 
Amy Hebbeler (Women's Soccer, Class of 2013): – D3Soccer.com All-American; One of a pair of senior defenders were leaders of a unit that posted 15 shutouts and a goals against average of 0.42, both of which ranked in the top-10 nationally. The Colonels allowed just nine goals on the season while scoring 56, and during one stretch went nine games without conceding a goal. Hebbeler was named as a Third Team All-American and has also been well decorated with postseason honors, having been selected Second Team All Great Lakes Region and SAA Defensive Player of the Year. Hebbeler finished the year with two goals, both game-winners, and three assists for seven points.

John Kieffer (Men's Cross Country, Class of 2013):  2012 and 2013 SAA Cross Country Champion, 2011, 2012 and 2013 South/Southeast Regional Cross Country Champion; District 2 Academic First-Team All-American; only men's cross country All-American at Centre.

Greg Ross (Men's Basketball, Class of 2012) – DIII News Second Team All-American (2011-12); NABC Third Team All-American (2011-12); D3Hoops.com Fourth Team All-American (2011-12); SCAC Player of the Year (2011-12); NABC First Team All-South Region (2011-12); D3Hoops.com First Team All-South Region (2011-12); NABC Second Team All-South Region (2010-11); SCAC First Team All-Conference (2011-12); SCAC First Team All-Conference (2010-11); SCAC Tournament MVP (2010-11); SCAC All-Tournament Team (2011-12); 3-Time SCAC Player of the Week (2011-12)
