NEW ORLEANS - The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its weekly awards earlier today and for the second time in the last two meets, Centre's Chloe Hein has been named Women's Division III National Athlete of the Week.

At the Centre Indoor Invitational this past weekend, Hein recorded a long jump mark of 20-9.75 (6.34m) to set yet another school record in the event. Hein has recorded a new school record in the long jump at each of Centre's indoor track meets this season.

The mark of 20-9.75 is the second best mark ever recorded in the long jump in the history of Division III women's track & field. Hein now owns two of the six best marks ever in the event at the Division III level, previously winning USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week on Feb. 2.

Hein currently ranks first in the nation in the women's long jump by over 15 inches.
