SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - In the final weekend for the SAA Indoor Championships, the Centre men's track & field team sent a partial squad to Wittenberg to compete in the Wittenberg Indoor Invite against a field of teams from all divisions. No score was kept today, but that did not stop Centre from multiple strong performances.

In the 200m, Jackson Heim got the win as he posted a time of 22.02, with Brayden Carman finishing in sixth place.

The men's 800m saw Reeve VanDemark finish fifth overall with a time of 1:57.09, with Noah George finishing less than half a second later in seventh place.

In the 5k, Ike Synnestvedt took third place with a time of 15:48.35, finishing first among collegiate runners in the race. Jackson Luskin took sixth place in the same event.

The 60m hurdles featured Julian Veliquette, who took eighth place overall with a time of 8.64.

In the shot put, David Harless picked up the win after posting a mark of 51-2.75 (15.61m), with Luke Cole finishing in eighth place.

In addition to Wittenberg, Centre sent two more athletes to Virginia Tech to compete in the VT Challenge, another unscored event featuring mostly Division I teams. Cree Ross took second place in the 60m with a time of 60m and then posted marks of 22-6.5 (6.87m) in the long jump and 46-4 (14.12m) in the triple jump, with the long jump mark representing a seasonal best. In the high jump, Michael Smith cleared 6-3.25 (1.91m) to finish in third place.
