NEW ORLEANS - The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its national postseason awards for the 2026 indoor track season and Centre took home two of the awards on the women's side with Field Athlete of the Year Serena McNeilly and Assistant Coach of the Year Ernest Mosheleketi.

Two-time national champion Serena McNeilly was named National Field Athlete of the Year after earning Great Lakes Regional Field Athlete of the Year last week. McNeilly scored postseason points in field events by the bushel. She amassed 33 of them at the NCAA DIII Indoor Championships, winning both the high jump and pentathlon, placing second in the triple jump, and fourth in the long jump. Three of those performances resulted in PRs: pentathlon (3782), high jump (1.79m/5-10½), and triple jump (12.30m/40-4¼), all either breaking or tying school records in those events.

Mosheleketi helped guide Centre's jumpers to three national championships at the NCAA Indoor Finals, with McNeilly winning twice and Chloe Hein winning in the long jump, setting a championship meet record in the process. McNeilly scored in two other events in earning DIII Most Outstanding Field Performer honors, and Hein twice extended the DIII all-time record in the long jump. Together they helped the Colonels to a third place finish, the highest team finish by any Centre track & field team at an NCAA championship meet.
