At Myers Park: Lettered in lacrosse three times, was a senior captain, and was all-conference in 2012. He was also a NC Great 38 All-Star. He also played 2 years of JV football. He was a NCHSAA Scholar Athlete, a part of National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Providence Day School Honors list for 3 semesters, Myers Park Honor roll for 3 semesters, received the President’s Award for Educational Achievement in 2013 and was an AP Scholar with honors in 2013. He played club lacrosse with Team Carolina and Team 24/7. He assistant coached for the Charlotte Condors Inter-city lacrosse team. Born Durham NC.
He was a part of the Men on the Run, Ultimate Frisbee, Ping Pong and Bike Polo clubs. He was also in Bowling Club, Key Club, and DECA. He volunteered for the Foundation for the Carolinas teen impact fund, was a teen court juror, a habitat for humanity volunteer, and room in the inn volunteer. He was active in his church youth group, has a 2 degree black belt in tae kwon do, a 1st degree black belt in karate. He is the son of Glen, who attended Mercer for his undergrad, Georgia for medical school, Virginia for residency and Duke for GI fellowship, and Sharon, who attended Texas and Virginia. He has a younger brother, Grant, who is in high school.
