Biography

Who was your favorite teacher growing up and why?
My favorite teacher growing up was my third grade teacher, Mrs. Mendel. She had such a fun loving attitude towards everything. Her lesson plans always involved keeping everyone entertained and engaged. I didn''t even know I was learning while I was learning. Not to mention, she had a candy dispenser shaped like and alien head, which no one could resist.

Other than hard work, what is the one thing you wish to give back to Centre soccer?
I hope to make a positive impact on my teammates. I want to be able to leave this program knowing I reached out to everyone that I could, whether it be soccer, school, or socially related, and that they''ve gained something by having me as a teammate.

What is your favorite inspirational movie?
Friday Night Lights (they don''t win in the end, but they stand behind each other no matter what).

What is your favorite motivational song before a game?
Anything on the Timeflies Tuesday Pandora station.

What is one interesting fact people would be surprised to know about you?
Bananas are the only food I won''t try.

If you could only eat one food, what would it be?
Discounting the risk of heart disease, steak (medium rare).

What is your favorite soccer moment?
As a team, winning the first ever SAA championship title at home, then hosting the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Individually, scoring the winning goal against Case Western my junior year.

What do you hope to do after graduation?
My goal after graduation is to eventually get into physical therapy school, preferably back home in Texas. I would love to specialize in pediatrics, and work with kids with neurodevelopmental disorders.

If there is one thing you wish you could learn to do, what would it be?
Sing without making dogs bark.

Why did you choose Centre?
I knew that if I was going to choose a school so far from home, that I would want it to feel like a second home. After I took my last visit to Centre, I knew I would be able to call it home one day.
